A History of Branches Mobile Gallery

Branches Mobile Gallery was conceived in 2010 as a creative vision. Its first notable appearance took place at the Sunset Campout held in Belden Town, CA, where the gallery environment made a remarkable debut.

In 2012, the Lucidity Festival played a pivotal role in the gallery's growth. The festival attracted a multitude of artists who were eager to showcase their work, propelling the gallery's expansion. With the ingenious use of Guadua Bamboo and vibrant shade structure design, the gallery underwent a transformative journey, evolving into a captivating and inviting space for art enthusiasts to appreciate and acquire fine art while fostering personal connections with the artists themselves.

At present, Branches Mobile Gallery is in a phase of expansion, now offering artwork for sale online. The team remains dedicated to seeking out new events and opportunities to bring their gallery to life, continuously striving to curate unique experiences that showcase exceptional artwork to a broader audience.

Owner, Designer, Curator

Luke Holden, the driving force behind Branches Mobile Gallery, is an advocate of kindness, collaboration, and ethical business practices. His overarching goal is to strengthen the art world by dismantling barriers for collective progress.

Early on, Luke found inspiration in the works of natural builders and sculptors such as David Nash and Patrick Dougherty. Their artistic endeavors deeply influenced him, fueling his lifelong dedication to the pursuit of passion and creative development.

In addition to his work with Branches Mobile Gallery, Luke also played a pivotal role in co-founding the Lucidity Festival. This transformative arts and music festival operates on the principles of open-source collaboration, inviting participants to actively co-create the festival experience and environment alongside the supportive Lucid Family.

When I play for an audience I am attuned to their needs, I contribute to the environment through an observed nonverbal conversation existing between myself and my listeners.  I mix deep global grooves with tribal, and west coast downtempo, while seamlessly integrating sounds from a familiar past with rich historical content ranging from bluegrass and folk, to reggae and hip-hop.I create an upbeat and danceable soundspace for fine art gallery openings, festivals, gatherings, and premier music venues.
